Today is the final day of the exchange. We had to go back to Holland again:(. But first we had to visit a militairy boat and we went in there to take a look inside it. After we visited the big boat, we went to Ana's house again to eat and pack my stuff. I didn't want to go home but on the other side I could see my family and girlfriend again, so that made it less hard. At the school we said goodbye to everyone and everyone was crying and hugging eachother. That was really special. After we said goodbye, we went to the airport and we departed at 18:00 back to Holland. When we arrived in Holland, it was all rainy and misty. But yeah, home sweet home they say. I really enjoyed Portugal and it was a great experience to be there. The people are so relaxed and nice there. This was my blog. Thanks for everything!

Today is the Family day, so we could do what we want with our host family. Ana and I went to the Eduardo VII Park. It looked so nice because of the vieuw. After the visit on the Eduardo Park, we went to the beach to relax there. It was a calm, relaxed day and over 30 degrees! I enjoyed it.

Today is the 6th day of the exchange. First Ana, her mom and me went to a restaurant somewhere in Lisbon. I ate a sort of pizza, but it was closed. It tasted really good. But at half past 2, we had to be at the beach (Costa) and there we got surf lessons. I had to put on a wet suit but that wasn't that easy. When I finally had it on, we could start the lesson. First ofcourse the warming up. So we ran down the beach and back, then we learned how to get on the surf board. That was really hard. When we could do it, we went to the sea to surf. This was so much harder then I thought. The sea was so strong and it was so hard to get on the board. Eventually I suceeded :) I was really happy. After the surfing, we went to a farewell diner at the restaurant of Rodrigo's (exchange partner of Stan) father. We ate some great food and then we went to a beach bar again.(Costa In). It was a really good day again.

Today I woke up at half past 7 again. We had to follow some Portugese classes today. I was with Ana and Stijn in the same class. We followed physics and biology. I couldn't really understand anything because it was in Portugese. After we followed the class, we went to the bus to go to a sailing lesson. When we arrived there we got split up in 2 different groups, one group was going to sail and the other group was waiting for us to finish the sailing. I was first to sail. It was pretty fun to do and we all enjoyed it. I sailed on one boat with: Britt, Joost and Lonneke. After we sailed, we went back and waited for the other group to finish. Then we went back to the school for a family diner. Everybody was there. We took some group photos and then we started to eat. It tasted very good. After diner we went to the beachbar again. This was very fun again. I was tired again when I came home but I enjoyed the day.

Thursday, 8th of May, It is the 4th day in Portugal. Everyone seems to like Portugal very much. Today I had to get up at half past 7 again. It was very early but I was very excited about this day, so I did not really think about how tired I was. We went to Castelo de Palmela to see the castle. After we saw the castle and the nice vieuw, we went to a small village near the sea. Nobody knows what the name of the small village was. When we arrived there we all were very happy because we had 2 and a half hour for our own. So we could just do whatever we wanted to do. We went to the beach, well... there was no beach. Only some rocks. So we just relaxed on the rocks. After the 2 hours of relaxing, we went to a big sailing boat. We were really excited about it because the vieuw from the boat was really beautiful. We were all just chilling on the boat, when the captain screamed: Dolphins! Dolphins! So we looked and in the distance we saw them coming closer and closer. A few minutes later the dolphins even swam with us. They were really beautiful. After we sailed, Ana and me went to a restaurant in Lisbon to eat fish. It tasted very good. After diner we went to a beachbar again. It was a good Portugese day again. I loved it.

My day started at half past 7 in the morning. First, we went to the school of the Portugese students to wait for the bus. The bus arrived at quarter to nine. We went to Lisbon. When we arrived in Lisbon, we had to cross the river first, so we took the public boat. First we walked like two hours to visit a museum. Then we walked to a nice place in the city. From there you could see the city from above. It looked really nice. After we saw the city from above, we walked to a big open place called Terreiro do paço. There was another point of vieuw from the city. After we saw the city, we went to a village called Belèm. There was a famous food restaurant with Pastéis de Belém. The Pastei tasted really good and everybody enjoyed them. In the night we went to a big mall in Lisbon. It was called Vasco da Gama. We bought some stuff there and then we went home. It was a long day but ofcourse very fun.

Today at 9'o clock, we departed with the bus from the Portugese school named: Daniel Sampaio. We went to the village Santri near Lisbon. We went there to visit the castle named Moorish castle. But first we had an one hour walk to the castle itself. At 3'o clock we went to the beach and we arrived there at 4 in the afternoon. It looked really nice because of the big oceanic vieuw. Later that day we went to the 'Saint Tropez' of Portugal named Cascais. The higher classed people live here. Cascais was really beautiful and everyone enjoyed it. After we visited Cascais, we went home. We were all really tired of the busy day.
